Hi Baseball People


A few items on the list for today.


- Congratulations to the Seniors for an excellent 9-3 win over Tajamar which included an astounding triple play. Great hitting, excellent pitching, and clearly outstanding fielding.
- We're into the playoffs portion of our schedule now which means the game times will be determined week by week. Please see below for this week's schedule.
- A short word of praise to all our players. One need only sit in the stands for a short while and listen to the comments. They're all along the lines of how impressed everyone is not only that the kids know what plays to make but that they are making them too. And the hitting is exceptional as evidenced by the number of times we hear WOW as the ball comes off the bat. Given the younger level of player we've had at all levels this year they've done a great job in raising their level of play.

BASEBALL FOR SATURDAY MAY 24

Hi Everyone


What a beautiful day we had for baseball this past weekend. That plus a full day of great games- it doesn't get any better.


There are only 3 weeks left in the season for this year. This week we'll start with the playoffs for Coach Pitch. I know there's a lot of communions and a scouting camping trip this weekend but we'd all really appreciate it if everyone could make maximum effort to attend this week and for the rest of the season. Please note your game times. The schedule for Coach Pitch is different this week than on the previously sent out schedule.


Machine Pitch will start their playoffs the following week May 31.

BASEBALL FOR SATURDAY MAY 17

Greetings Baseball People


Its hard to believe that there are only 4 weeks left in the season this year. As you all may (or may not) know one of the challenges we faced this year was each level got younger. Put another way we saw a lot of the kids moving up and playing at a higher level than where they previously played. I'm really pleased to say that the outcome has been fantastic. The kids have more than risen to the challenges posed by playing at higher levels. Our Pitchers have become better Pitchers, Fielders better Fielders, and hitters stronger hitters. Their skills and knowledge of the game and most importantly their confidence that they can raise their games has been exceptional. I'd like to say thanks to the coaches for their efforts and to all of you for your dedication in making the league what it is as after all we are only a sum of the total.

I hope those that were travelling last week over the puente had a nice break and good trips.


We're getting in to the last month or so of the season now. Its been great to see the improvement at all levels as the hours of practice and game experience is really starting to show. As the temperatures rise and the clouds blow away don't forget to pack plenty of sun screen. And on that note here's the schedule for this Saturday May 10.
