Hello Baseball People- Great News ! There will be Fall baseball ! Mark your calendars for Saturday Oct 11 and Saturday Oct 18. We will have 2 weeks of practice games and drills to keep our baseball skills up to date and ready for when the regular season gets started.
We're going to run it like this- If you were in Coach Pitch last year or if you're new to Madrid League Baseball and between the ages of 5 and 8 you should come from 10:00 to 12:00. Please arrive a little early to get organized. There will be 2 Coach Pitch practice games going on for those that have played before, newcomers, boys, girls, and anyone that wants to give it a try.
If you were in Machine Pitch last year or if you're new to Madrid League Baseball and between the ages of 9 and 11 you should come from 12:00 to 14:00. Please arrive a little early to get organized. We'll have a machine Pitch game going on, as well as practice some hitting in the cage. Like Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch is open to boys and girls, experienced players and newcomers.
If you were in Senior Kid Pitch last year or age 12 to 15 please come at 14:00 for a practice game amongst the older kids.
I know everyone has a lot going on most weekends and kids activities are overprogrammed but I really hope you all can make every effort to come out, see baseball friends, and play a little baseball. For us that run the league it serves the dual purpose of being able to get a decent headcount so that we can get going with ordering uniforms and equipment over the winter.
