As you all know safety is and must be one of our primary concerns. Last week we had 2 serious accidents, and a number of serious near misses. There is a lot of activity going on around the baseball field with soccer games, teams practicing, and kids having fun. As such it’s pretty easy for anyone to get distracted. With all the balls flying around, and bats being swung obviously people can get seriously hurt. 1- Remind your kids to please be careful and pay attention at all times. 2- Parents of younger kids especially, Please keep an eye on them. I understand as much as it seems like it’s a kid friendly environment there’s a lot that can go wrong. 3- Lets all keep our eyes open, try and keep the ball tossing in one direction, and confine the swinging of bats to in and around the batting cage or coach supervised practice only. Thanks.
Here's the schedule for this week:

9:30-10:30 Coach Pitch Red Sox vs A's
10:30-11:45 Coach pitch Dodgers vs Giants

Jeremy Guthrie Update: 7 innings of 5 hits 2 runs last night vs the Braves. No decision as he left with score tied 2-2 so still 2-0 on the season now. Batting he went 1 for 2 officially at the plate so batting .500 on the season. Not bad.
