Hi Everyone
Its been a great start to the season. The turnout has been way more than expected. With all the teams pretty much at their limit registration is now closed.
Now that we¡re a couple weeks into the season we're going to focus more on details. At Coach Pitch we're going to try and be more disciplined with positioning in the field. This means that instead of looking like there are 14 infielders, we'll have the standard 5 infielders + catcher, and everyone else in the outfield with a clear separation between infield and outfield. Also we'll be focusing more on the the basic rules, like runners must touch every base and runners not being allowed to pass other runners while running the bases.
Seniors will be incorporating stealing this week, and no 6 run mercy rule.
All levels will play so that we don't start a new inning more than 15 minutes before the scheduled end time for that particular game. Seniors should plan on their games going to 7:00 pm.
We could have our first challenge this week with the weather. If its raining, I'll try and make a call whether the games are cancelled or not by 9:00 am for Coach Pitch, and 13:00 for Machine Pitch. Coaches should call me, and the coaches will then inform their teams. Hope for the best...

17:00-19:00 Senior Kid Pitch Twins vs Brewers
